TexStar Physical Therapy of Carrollton welcomes Heidi Mechalke-Roach, MPT as Clinic Director. She joins
our team from Parker, Colorado. Heidi brings to our clinic 11 years of manual outpatient orthopedic
experience and a reputation for excellence. She is highly skilled in treating: Sport Related Orthopedic
Injuries, MVA, TMJ, Whiplash, Headaches, Spinal dysfunction and Total Joint Replacements. Maitland
trained with experience with McKenzie, Mulligan, Rocobado and Evjenth treatment techniques. Heidi's treatment philosophy incorporates a close working relationship with the physician as well as a partnership with the patient. Patient education regarding their condition, return to prior level of function and the therapy process is an integral part of her treatment style. Heidi pioneered and implemented and ran a pool therapy program in both Aurora and Parker Colorado. Along with a partner, she also developed a ski conditioning and injury prevention program. Heidi has been a certified professional ski instructor for 26 years as well as being certified in mat Pilates. When not working Heidi enjoys skiing, camping, hiking, biking swimming, rollerblading and spending time with her husband and two daughters. |
